CADC is a Canadian dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Loon, fully redeemable 1:1 for CAD with monthly attestation of reserves. It operates on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Solana.

CADC is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged specifically to the Canadian dollar.

Anyone with a compatible wallet can hold, send, and receive CADC, no signup required. To mint or redeem CADC 1:1 for Canadian dollars, sign up with Loon and complete a quick verification.

Businesses and institutions can apply to partner with Loon to access CADC minting and redemption services. The process includes KYC verification and onboarding guidance. Email partners@loon.finance to start.

CADC is backed 1:1 by Canadian dollars held in a segregated cash account at ATB Financial. Loon publishes monthly third-party attestations proving reserves fully cover all circulating tokens.

Reserves are attested monthly by independent auditors to ensure CADC tokens are fully backed.

Minting and redemption use institutional multisignature wallet controls. Reserves are held at a regulated Canadian bank. Operational controls protect user assets.

No fees from Loon. Standard on-chain gas fees apply per transaction, usually a few cents.
